Out for a week, & look at all the new toys Microsoft has for me!

I go on vacation for a week and Microsoft goes crazy dropping new things in our laps!

Just before I left they gave us the gift of Service Pack 1 for SharePoint which was part gift, and part painful testing experiment, but mostly an terrific pile of great new enhancements and features to play with. This week we got we got SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 & SQL Server Code Name “Denali” CTP3 which is filled with goodies for those BI & SQL Server fanatics amongst us.

Additionally, as posted by Stephen Gossner, June 2011 CU for SharePoint 2010 has been re-released with fixes for the .Net 4.0 & User Profile Services issues and the Services failures that were widely reported across twitter and the blogosphere over the past two weeks.

If I thought that this would happen after every vacation, I would take more time off!
